OUR HUMANITARIAN VISION

By FEUBA NYA

For almost three years now, ICEDAC USA has been committed to providing medical assistance to populations whose lives or health are threatened in the United States or abroad, mainly in the event of epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, exclusion from health care and armed conflict.

Medicine in precarious contexts is a special focus of ICEDAC-USA's activities, which involve a gallery of care services: consultations, surgery, hospitalization, psychological care and much more.
To achieve its mission, ICEDAC-USA can also provide material and medical aid to improve the living conditions of people affected by a crisis.

To achieve this, ICEDAC-USA recruits and provides teams of health, logistics and administrative professionals of different nationalities.
After each needs assessment mission, the teams employed by ICEDAC-USA provide assistance in accordance with medical ethics and the principles of humanitarian action.
ICEDAC-USA distributes its humanitarian aid without discrimination, and gives priority to those most at risk. ICEDAC-USA is governed by the principle of impartiality.

After each mission, ICEDAC-USA reports in real time on its interventions in the field, and communicates publicly to bear witness to the plight of the populations it helps, and informs on the scale and effectiveness of the relief efforts undertaken.
ICEDAC USA is governed by a principle of neutrality and cannot take sides in armed conflicts. However, it may criticize or denounce breaches of international conventions ratified by each state in which it operates.

The ICEDAC-USA International Organization is financed by the generosity of its private donors, giving it independence and autonomy. In Cameroon and the DRC in 2021, 100% of ICEDAC-USA's resources came from private sources.
To carry out its missions, ICEDAC-USA intervenes in various contexts (people on the move; natural disasters; conflicts and wars; diseases; epidemics and pandemics) to provide emergency medical assistance.
