Context analysis
ICEDAC-USA operates in an environment marked by significant environmental and social challenges. A significant proportion of our budget is allocated to programs in the field, ensuring that resources are used where they will have the greatest impact. - All the activities carried out by ICEDAC-USA were made possible thanks to the generous support of its financial partner Hi-Hans International Trading Inc. to the tune of 298,413 USD. This American company distinguished itself by its commitment and exceptional financial support, enabling ICEDAC-USA to successfully pursue its missions.
Project Monitoring and Evaluation
- Progress Monitoring Framework: We have put in place a robust monitoring framework to track project progress in real time. This framework includes clear performance indicators, specific milestones, and quantitative targets. We use technological tools to collect and analyze data, which helps us adjust our strategies and optimize impact.
Reporting mechanisms : We have established systematic reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability. Progress reports are generated monthly, quarterly and annually, providing a detailed overview of progress. These reports are shared with stakeholders, including donors, partners and beneficiaries.
Project evaluation: Periodic evaluations are carried out to measure project effectiveness and long-term impact. These evaluations are carried out by internal and external experts and serve to inform future strategic decisions.

Project Risk Management
- Identifying Potential Risks: We recognize that our projects are subject to a variety of risks, including environmental, social, economic and political. A thorough risk analysis is carried out at the start of each project to identify potential threats and assess their possible impact.
Mitigation strategies: For each identified risk, we develop specific mitigation strategies. These may include:

GUY A. HANS
PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
His itinerary is first and foremost that of a young man born after colonization and destined to become a citizen of the world.
He is therefore a humanist who came out of different educational backgrounds in Cameroon. His move to the United States gave him the opportunity to have a diversified academic training.
Having witnessed the suffering of the world’s most vulnerable human beings, in refugee camps, etc., Mr Guy A. Hans made a promise to put human dignity at the heart of his work as President and Executive Director of ICEDAC USA. At this time of unprecedented global challenges, he has built on his commitment as a Strategic Member and Founder of ICEDAC USA to launch actions to address the climate emergency that is a defining issue of our time; to advance gender equality and realize ambitious projects in the 19th century to support and strengthen the crucial efforts undertaken by the United Nations to ensure peace, sustainable development, human rights, humanitarian assistance and more. Prior to his appointment as CEO of ICEDACUSA, he was Chairman/CEO of the American companies “Soft-Service Of Trade” and “Hit-Hans International Trading.Inc”.
Dr. HANS NSI Jean Stevy
Head of Mission in Africa Zone
With a career dedicated to both medicine and public service, Dr. Hans Nsi Jean Stevy embodies commitment and passion for development and diplomacy in Africa. A medical doctor by training, he served with distinction in the private sector before pursuing advanced studies in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Institut Camerounais des Études Diplomatiques et Stratégiques.
A polyglot, Dr. Hans Nsi is fluent in French, with intermediate proficiency in English and Latin. His ability to communicate effectively in certain Bantu languages such as Bulu, Ewondo, Lingala...enables him to connect with diverse communities and strengthen local initiatives.
A proud Cameroonian and dynamic leader, Dr. Hans Nsi is recognized for his intelligence and strategic approach to managing ICEDAC-USA's strategic programs. His leadership is essential in guiding ICEDAC-USA's Africa Mission towards its goals in environmental protection, health, education and development.

Gracia Miracle HOUNGBEDJI
ICEDAC-USA representative in Republic of Benin
Gracia Miracle HOUNGBEDJI is a professional in the field of humanitarian aid and international development. She holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and a master's specialized in international cooperation and humanitarian aid, and has completed her training with certifications in emergency education and humanitarian and development project management.
Driven by a desire to improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations, notably disabled people, disadvantaged children and refugees, Gracia has acquired solid experience in the field.
In particular, she was a facilitator on the “Inclusive education for disabled children in the Abomey-Calavi commune” project, and later piloted the “Access to microcredit for disabled women in Abomey-Calavi” project.
Gracia Miracle HOUNGBEDJI is currently Country Representative for ICEDAC-USA in Benin, where she continues to actively contribute to improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations.
NJOA KASONGO Léonard
Representative in Democratic Republic of Congo
Njoa Kasongo Léonard, before being appointed ICEDAC-USA Representative in the DRC, was an experienced professional and committed leader in the field of sustainable development and mining project management in the DRC. A Congolese national, he is fluent in French and English, enabling him to communicate effectively and navigate complex international contexts.
Having piloted several large-scale projects for American and Canadian companies, Mr. Kasongo has recognized expertise in implementing programs that combine economic progress with respect for the environment. His strategic approach and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams make him a valuable asset for our ICEDAC-USA in the DRC.
Samuel LELANO
ICEDAC-USA representative in Guinea Conakry
Mr. Samuel Lelano, appointed representative in Guinea Conakry in 2022, is an accomplished professional in the field of environmental law and science, with a professional degree in mining law, giving him solid expertise in the legal aspects of mining and environmental protection. He also pursued his studies to obtain a Master 2 in Environmental Science, consolidating his understanding of and commitment to current ecological issues.
Prior to his appointment as ICEDAC-USA Representative in Guinea Conakry, from 2019 to 2021 he successfully led the “Les Petites Pousses” project, a consortium initiative of the NGOs Mining and Green Space (Guinea) and Scienteama (France), to promote reforestation and environmental education.
In 2021, Mr. Lelano also held the position of Chairman of the Democracy and Legal Reform Commission of the Guinea House of Associations and NGOs platform. In this role, he worked to improve legal frameworks and promote democratic values within Guinean civil society.
As a representative of ICEDACUSA, Mr. Lelano pledged to continue his dedicated work for environmental protection and sustainable development in Guinea Conakry.
